Ranchos 30 Hotel Fazenda

I chose Ranchos30 to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and be a part of his birthday present. But the experience was disappointing, I chose the Premium Chalet (one of the most expensive, more than 1,000 to stay overnight) where it was full board, I paid 150 reais more for a romantic decoration at dinner, but when we arrived for dinner there were 4 balloons, 2 of which had already been released and flown and rose petals thrown on the ground, everything was very simple. At dinner we were told that we had to choose our dishes by 4:30 pm and we only had 94 reais for dinner (I've never seen this full board have a balance to eat) and this wasn't even advised when purchasing the package, we had to pay the rest checkout and detail they wanted to charge the full amount of the food. The food was bad, we chose picanha and any type of meat except picanha came, very tough meat, hard cassava and cold food, we couldn't eat almost anything. We ordered a sandwich later, as we were hungry and it was the worst sandwich we've ever eaten, we paid 35 reais for a burnt sandwich, it didn't even come with a sauce like ketchup or meiosis. Weak breakfast, we took unwashed grapes, thin and flavorless juice, the orange juice looked like it was made with 2 oranges in 5 liters of water. The environment I find cozy and pleasant to be in. The service from the bar staff during the day was pleasant. The chalet was clean, but honestly it looked like it hadn't been repaired for a long time, the room we stayed in didn't have a mirror and when I complained they said that the accommodation didn't have mirrors (remembering that it was one of the most expensive accommodations), finally they decided to bring a mirror to the chalet we were in. The air conditioning made a lot of noise, it seemed like there was even a cricket inside, it was making so much noise. We really liked the jacuzzi and it served its purpose. The heated pool saved it, it really was heated, the “infinity” edge pool didn’t have an infinity edge because it was a little empty, but the sale promises an infinity edge pool. Anyway… the place fails to deliver what it promises.

I chose Ranchos30 to celebrate a birthday this year due to the location and amenities offered. I like the environment and find it cozy and pleasant to be in. However, I have some observations to make. 1. Receiving assistance is an arduous task and makes us give up asking for information due to the exorbitant delay (up to a day of waiting), 2. Simple problems such as guidance on how to turn on a TV took more than 2 hours to be resolved and with a lot of insistence. 3. There is no communication with the reception desk if you don't go there. I stayed at the viewpoint and several times I had to go to reception to try to resolve the problem. 4. We had the worst dinner experience of our lives on Monday night. We ordered a plate of flank steak with the accompaniments, they left us waiting for 1h45 minutes, when the food arrived it came with cold beans, extremely hard cassava, the meat was pure muscle and hard, the farofa that was part of the dish was missing and not to mention that it looked like they had threw the food from a distance onto the plate. Horrible presentation, poor quality service and the dish costing 120 reais. It was regrettable to celebrate a birthday with such a dinner… unfortunately this experience makes me rethink whether I will return. The curtain rods were broken and mended with tape, the curtains were very old and stained with veins, showing a dismantling of the beauty of the room, the light from the rod giving poor contact. I really liked the jacuzzi and it served its purpose. Regarding the hot tubs, this is the second time I've been there and they're unusable, they're always dirty as if maintenance and cleaning were done rarely. Bad food, terrible service, poorly informed staff, rooms without maintenance and not very clean. I thought it was a family place, I went with two children under 2 years old and I HATED the experience, so much so that I left early (and no one even asked me why, just the security guard who runs around the place at night). I stayed with my family at Mirante Premium and also in the double suite (and I didn't pay cheap) on the 30th and 31st of January. The towels in the gazebo were smelly and the sheets were old, but that was the least of it. Staff are not well trained or well informed. When we needed information, everyone said something. On the first morning, one of them said that the coffee was from 7am to 10am, another from 8am to 10am and finally we discovered that it was only from 8am to 9am! On our first night (with two children under 2 years old) it rained and there were at least 5 leaks in the room, the room was all wet! The next day, they said they had fixed it. We left it alone and were going to stay for New Year's dinner. An employee said that supper would be at the normal dinner time of 7:30 pm, we got ready and went (with the 2 small children, remember). When you get there, nothing is ready! Supper would be at 9pm and no one had given us the correct information. The food isn't that great and during the only breakfast we had (on the second day we left, after the wrong information about the supper time + the leaking fiasco) during 20 minutes of coffee, someone came to the table about 8 times take things away. Another employee came, without even asking me anything, picking up my son! The mini farm is really mini, I only saw an old goat and 2 horses and it was still closed. As for fishing, an employee said it was possible to go on foot, which was about 800m. I was fooled again! I walked, walked, walked, with 2 children and never got to fish. You should warn people that they should walk, because it's quite far! The jacuzzis were always dirty and dogs roamed around the place lying down in the places where guests were supposed to lie down. Finally, the saddest thing is that no one really cares about customers' opinions! We left on the 31st at night and no one cared, a shame.
